2010-04-23 11:47 amOne more day! I must admit I'm feeling weaker every day. There's so many household chores to do, and they take an effing long time because I have to sit down every ten minutes!
Tomorrow's my mums birthday and I still don't have a present... I'm gonna end up buying a bunch of flowers or something, as usual... ;)
On a different note, anybody else infatuated with true blood? Can't wait for season three to start in june!!!

2010-04-21 08:07 pmOkay, I'm on that juice week thing where you only drink assorted juices, herb tea and water (of course you don't eat at all).
Well, I like it so far, it was harsh not to drink any coffee (I'm quite the coffedrinker, I noticed) but I actually feel quite good.
I sleep more than usual, I don't have quite the energy I usually have but no aches, pains or anything of the like. *yay*
Funny enough, I bought a pair of pretty summer pants yesterderday, and today they were loose! *rollseyes*.
Even though I like all the juices well enough *phew", I still am hungry quite regularly... Which doesn't surprise me, really! ;)
Anyway, can't wait to eat again!

The Baseballs
2010-04-14 10:50 amI went to the Baseballs concert yesterday and it was AMAZING! They're so much fun on stage, played with the audience, fooled around, and of course they made some music... ;)
These guys just rock that typical Rock'n Roll macho behaviour you only see in old movies nowadays! And they can swing their hips like whoa. *drools*
I literally didn't stand still a minute *bouncebouncebounce* ;)
Definitely going again next time!!!

2010-03-31 09:59 amI've once again arrived at a point in my llife where I'm discontent and absolutely have no idea why.
I mean, I fell like life is not just around for being lived, but to be made something special of! And I'm clueless as to what my place could be.
It's like, I'm looking for something and don't know what. I couldn't tell if its private life or the job or whatever...
Ok, I'm aware that at the age of 23 that's not very tragic, lots of time still, right? But I'm scared shitless, that I will still be looking for the next 30 odd years, and I really really don't want that!
Anyway, enough complaining, I'm gonna enjoy some coffe in the morning sun, the small pleasures of life! ;)
Take care y'all

Short update from my life:
I broke off a tiny bit of my right thumbs bone, meaning I have to work with some stupid splint which is very much in the way in my line of work, take meds against the pain which make me tired all day... Well, at least they work, pain is very minimal, thank God! (Have you ever brushed your teeth with your left hand? Nightmare...)
Additionally, quite a lot of people quit at work, but of course those with more experience and the hard working ones. But do we get replacements? Nooo, we can save money! Great, and who's gotta take the can for it? We do! Yay! I also work all month only with apprentices and trainees, because, as my boss put it, I'm one of the "strong" ones. Thanks for the compliment anyway...
And last but not least, my therapist told me I'm showing clear signs of a beginning burnout, I wouldn't have guessed myself, but I wasn't really surprised...
But, hey, the weather today is superb!!! ;)

Terry Pratchett
2010-02-18 09:54 pmHi, I'm back to reading like an idiot, and I love it like I've never stopped...
Has any of you read anything by Terry Pratchett? He's fantastic, and absolutely unique in his writing!
Small sample:
It was all very well going on about pure logic and how the universe was ruled by logic and the harmony of numbers, but the plain fact of the matter was that the disc was manifestly traversing space on the back of a giant turtle and the gods had a habit of going round to atheist' houses and smashing their windows.
First Discworld nover by Terry Pratchett, "the colour of magic"
